Hotel a Cedar Grove

“Parking lot is ample but a little rough looking. Landscaping could use some love to improve first impression. Lobby is fine but beware that any activity there (like a soccer team party) is easily heard in the first few rooms off the lobby, especially on the 2nd floor. Check in was smooth and staff pleasant. Room was reasonably clean and comfortable but blinds were broken, chair was splattered in paint and bedside lamp was missing a bulb and non-functional. Can’t report on pool or breakfast but...

“I did not stay here despite my reservation and request a full refund of my money. Trying to check in after the posted ‘check in’ time, no one was the desk for 30 minutes of bell ringing. Returning two hours later, still noone there for another 30 minutes. I finally called the number on the front door(no where near the desk) and was told they did not have a reservation in my name. “Tiki Beach Resort. Road 2 Hours to Hotel to have owners claim that Hotels.com has scammer that is booking their resort without their knowledge. Said that cabin I paid for on Hotels.com was not available. The owners felt bad for me and were going to get me lodging. First, stating they were putting me in a nicer property closer to my destination. But ultimately provided a room in motel further from my destination and way less expensive than what I paid for. “Self check in I was not aware. Got checked in alright but room was already occupied. TV was unusable streaming everything and WiFi was terrible.”

“The side door didn’t work, airconditioner was spotty, bathroom door didn’t close, pillows were very thin and only two per queen bed. It was quiet and check in was easy. For the price it’s everything I expected.”

“We didn’t need help from staff but they were friendly. Very clean, best hotel bed in a long time! We were pretty busy during our time there and didn’t use the amenities. Pool area was closed but that means they check the water quality. Wish the coffee was better at hotels in general, but it got us up and moving in the morning.”
